Caledonian Logistics has placed an order with Cartwright’s Scottish Office for 15 new trailers.
The order is for ten standard Cartwright curtainsiders and five double deck curtainsiders – in addition to this, Caledonian Logistics has been a Cartwright rental customer for 18 months.
The logistics firm, which has been in existence for 16 years, has depots in Aberdeen, Inverness and Glasgow. It operates three main divisions – a division for general pallet movements, a long distance delivery division and a storage division and has been a member of the Palletways pallet network since 2000.
Derek Mitchell managing director of Caledonian Logistics, said: “The new trailers will be used for general haulage and we will also continue to rent trailers from Cartwright on an ad hoc basis. They are our first port of call due to their flexibility and availability of rental products particularly as their depot is in close proximity to us,” he added.
