AirBridge Cargo operations take flight with new 747

AirBridge Cargo (ABC) has commenced operations with its third Boeing 747 freighter. Its maiden flight with the company will see it in service from Beijing to Amsterdam via the airline’s Russian hub in Krasnoyarsk.

Major job cuts expected in Boots Alliance merger.

Industry rivals Boots and Alliance UniChem are expected to announce a merger deal today worth £7.5Bn. The deal will be the largest retail merger since Morrisons bought out Safeway for £3Bn in March 2004.
