Brexit fails to stifle logisticians’ optimism

Logistics businesses are optimistic about the year ahead despite the uncertainties resulting from Brexit and continued economic instability, the Freight Transport’s Logistics Report suggests.

Dachser sales rise 16pc

Dachser’s UK sales grew by 16 per cent to £77 million last year, driven by export services which were up 21 per cent. Import business grew by seven per cent year-on-year.

Operating profit rises at DSV

DSV increased its operating profit by two per cent to DKK1.2 billion for the first quarter of 2018, while turnover was up one per cent at DKK18.4bn.
