Transport prices drop 8.4 pc

Capacity index growth of 31.4 per cent in the first quarter of 2019 has caused an 8.4 per cent drop in transport prices on the spot market compared to 2018 fourth quarter results, according to the Transport Market Monitor from Transporeon and TIM CONSULT.

Kia expands Stallingborough distribution centre

Kia Motors is expanding its car distribution centre at Stallingborough near Immingham to 52.6 ha as a result of the acquisition of 16.8 ha of land from Associated British Ports. The additional space will allow it to store up to 8,000 more cars.
