Linde Material Handling exhibited its L-Matic robotic pallet stacker at this week’s IntraLogisteX show. The truck has a capacity of 1.2 tonnes and acceleration to 1.6 m/s maximum, with or without load.

Red Ledge launches US operation

Software company Red Ledge is launching a US operation after striking a deal with auto-ID company Bip Direct to distribute Red Ledge RFID, barcode, voice and sensor technology throughout North America.

£17m funding boost for robotics

The government is expected to confirm a funding boost of £17.3m from the Engineering and Physical Sciences Research Council to support the development of new robotics and artificial intelligence technologies in universities across the UK.
