Despite current market conditions and a perceived over-supply of space in Yorkshire, St Paul’s Developments has started work on two high quality industrial units of 21,260 and 23,620 sq ft at Smithy Wood Business Park located at Junction 35 of the M1 motorway.
The business park in Sheffield is entering a second phase of speculative development. The units, which are being marketed by Knight Frank, make up the first industrial provision on the 50-acre Smithy Wood site. Rebecca Schofield of Knight Frank, said: “The £3.5m investment by St Paul’s Developments into Smithy Wood marks a high level of confidence in the market.”
