PalletForce member Alan Firmin has invested £1.5 million in modernising its fleet and rebranding.
The family-owned company spent the money on replacement vehicles and additional equipment, as well as a rebranding project which includes new livery, signage and corporate logo.
Alan Firmin purchased 16 Lawrence David tri-axle trailers, nine DAF XF105 super-space tractor units and three MAN TGM 18-tonne rigids to its 120-strong fleet.
Paul Denyer, director of Alan Firmin, said: “To help us maintain and cement out position as a premier haulier it is vital that we portray an image that represents our culture of strength, high-quality and reliability.”
The company employs more than 100 staff and operates from 650,000 sq ft of property.
