Suffolk-based Anglia Freight has appointed ATS Euromaster as its sole tyre service provider after it outlined potential to increase the performance of tyres across its 27 trucks and 35 trailers.
A free tyre inspection carried out by ATS Euromaster confirmed all tyres were operating in a safe and legal condition, but with an “overwhelming proportion” of new rubber fitted.
Geoff Moulton, managing director of Anglia Freight, said: “Tyres are a considerable part of our running costs, yet the audit highlighted that we weren’t fully in control of our tyre expenditure.”
Each month ATS Euromaster will carry out an in-depth tyre inspection across the fleet and provide an online report.
This will detail the condition and remaining tread depth of every tyre Anglia Freight owns, as well as listing any servicing work which ATS Euromaster needs to carry out, such as regrooving, twinning or turning tyres on the rim.
