Transport Exchange Group has reported record volumes month-on-month during the second half of 2009.
Managing director Lyall Cresswell said the benefits of freight exchanges were becoming more attractive which had been reflected in increasing activity on the group’s Courier Exchange and Haulage Exchange.
The web-based exchanges allow member companies to book loads confirm orders, approve invoices and make payments electronically. It has more than 2,000 member companies.
