Hellmann has set itself the target of pushing up sales by 14 per cent next year to take its turnover to £71m.
Last year, it says, sales in the UK rose 37 per cent across the Hellmann air, sea and roadfreight products. It recorded a 20 per cent increase in seafreight, a 46 per cent increase in roadfreight export shipments, and a 12 per cent increase in airfreight export tonnage when compared to 2009.
To meet its 14 per cent target next year, it has decided to invest a further £1million on increasing the amount of sales people within the organisation, focusing on core business activity within the private sector.
