Wincanton has adopted Amethyst Systems’ delivery management system to manage its operations for a UK carpet manufacturer.
Using Amethyst’s DMS software, products’ barcodes are scanned to confirm consignments, and can be traced with real-time monitoring. It provides and on-the-road uploading of data, proof of delivery, vehicle checks and data analysis.
Amethyst was able to build in extra functions and created a matrix of measurements to suit Wincanton’s contract.
