Nissan’s site in Sunderland is regularly cited as Europe’s most productive car plant – and a key element of its success is an integrated supply chain which is designed to produce the most efficient process flow.

Bruce Taylor, head of operations at Nissan will set out the company’s lean philosophy and what it means in practice – in particular the three elements of Nissan’s ‘virtuous cycle’, which is perpetual: Standard Work, Continuous Improvement and Training.
Nissan is one of eight major case studies that will be presented at the Summit which is designed to bring together shippers and their partners to focus on new ways to solve the industry’s most pressing issues both today and in the future.
