David Frankish, chief executive of NFT Distribution, has become chairman of CBI East Midlands.
He is already a member of the CBI Transport Policy Committee and chair of the CBI National Networks Working Group.
In the new role, Frankish will represent and lobby for the East Midlands regionally and nationally as well as chairing meetings of the Regional Council.
Lucy Haynes, regional director for CBI in the East Midlands, said: “As well as bringing a wealth of business experience, David also represents the voice of the logistics sector which is particularly important to the region. In these challenging times, David’s experience and presence will strengthen the voice of the CBI in its mission to secure private sector growth.”
