La Palette Rouge is leading the field in the penultimate round of the UK Fresh Connection supply chain and logistics competition.
As well as leading the UK competition, LPR currently has the top score in the global competition position, beating all the other 127 international teams.
John Salsbury, LPR operations director said: “The team are absolutely delighted to have finished top and are determined to win the final and represent the UK in the global final. It was our aim at the beginning of the competition and hopefully we can finish the job. We have thoroughly enjoyed the competition and learnt a huge amount during the journey. As a result believe we make more effective business decisions”
The UK final is taking place on 13th June. Other finalists include Marks and Spencer, Tesco Direct, Asda, Mars, Kimberly-Clark, General Mills and Jordans & Ryvita.
