Food service firm Fresh Direct has taken delivery of 39 7.5 tonne Isuzu rigid distribution trucks to follow its 2009 order of 20 trucks from Isuzu.
The N75.190 4×2 rigids, feature Isuzu’s Easyshift transmission, have single compartment RVL refrigerated bodies with Carrier Transicold Xarios refrigeration system. Each truck can carry an eight-pallet load.
25 of the Isuzu rigids have replaced existing Isuzu vehicles, whilst 14 are an extension to the fleet, which currently numbers some 200 vehicles.
The vehicles have been taken on a three-year contract
