Following the departure from Lowestoft of Jeld Wen, a successor to Boulton & Paul Joinery, the 36 acre site called has been put in the market.
The site comprises 628,000 sq ft of industrial buildings, as well as quay headings and is located within an area recently designated by Waveney District Council as being covered by a Local Development Order to support and promote businesses in the Energy, Offshore Engineering and Ports & Logistics sectors. The site is available on a leasehold basis as a whole, or in part.
Lowestoft and Great Yarmouth were recently selected by the government as one of the five national centres for offshore renewable engineering.
