DSV in Czech Republic has signed an agreement on the acquisition of road, air and sea freight activities and contract logistics from AWT Cechofracht.
“AWT Cechofracht is an important player with strong traditions in the Czech market. The activities acquired match the current DSV activities in the Czech Republic well and will furthermore create a complete local distribution network” said group CEO Jens Bjorn Andersen.
* DSV has also signed an agreement to acquire Dubai-based Swift Freight Group.
Swift is a regional freight forwarder with 36 offices spread across 15 countries in Africa, the Middle East and Asia.
