UK firm Exact Logistics has bought into German transport operation CTL, a company owned by individual transport firms who co-operate to offer delivery services within Germany and Europe.
The deal gives Exact Logistics the right to deliver and collect from CTL’s 130 partners between Germany and the UK and Ireland.
Exact, based in Rugby, now aims to make deliveries to and from Germany within 48 hours.
The deal will also allow Exact to deliver goods to and from countries including Luxemburg, Poland, Turkey, Spain and Finland, as well as daily delivery services between Germany and Czech Republic, Slovakia, Greece, Malta, Hungary, Slovenia, Romania and Bulgaria.
