Fargo Systems, creators of the TOPS transport management system, is launching into the car transport market with Freemans Autologistics as one of its first clients.
Alice Hustwait, transport manager of Freemans said: “The TOPS suite of tools allows us to plan much further in advance and the fact that we can produce full revenue and cost analysis, direct from the operating platform, means we are in even greater control of the business.”
Fargo have developed a flexible product job entry wizard to provide a quick and easy method to enter jobs on the system. Freemans can define a database of vehicles (makes & models). Registration or VIN numbers are then entered on the wizard and the relevant make/model selected or added to the database on the fly.
