Peterborough manufacturer Advanced Handling, previously owned by Metalrax Group, has been acquired by the Swedish-owned Sunnex Group.
Sunnex has been growing sales in the UK through its existing operation, Movomech Pronomic (UK) which will now be absorbed into the business of Advanced Handling.
Mike Prince, managing director of Advanced, said: “Strategically this acquisition helps us grow in terms of our product development and services. Across the group the focus towards innovation, ergonomic design and providing bespoke solutions is shared, and the obvious benefits of this are to our customers.
“We now have a greater range of materials handling solutions which will enable us to provide an improved response in solving our customers’ needs.”
