PD Ports is offering 13 full-time dock operations roles to Teesport based apprentices.
The new positions are for both bulks and container related areas of the business and will begin at the end of April, after the existing 18 month apprenticeship programme finishes.
All 13 apprentices are set to achieve 100 per cent success rate in their NVQ Level 2 in Dock Operations.
David Robinson, PD Ports’ CEO, said: “We are delighted to announce the creation of new jobs for our apprentices. The news is particularly pleasing given its National Apprenticeship Week, which helps to highlight the growing importance of apprenticeships as an access route to learn a trade, feel motivated and ultimately gain employment.”
