Rise in failed deliveries by UK companies in June

The number of attempted deliveries by UK couriers in June was more than double the previous month, according to the IMRG MetaPack UK Delivery Index.

During the month of June almost one in ten (9.21 per cent) delivers were unsuccessful, the figures are up almost double for the previous month that showed that 4.39 per cent of deliveries went undelivered.

A spokesmen for OpenMarket has said “Using mobile technology to engage along various points in the consumer journey can dramatically improve satisfaction levels, drive down operational costs for the 3PL and enable actionable insight into end-user habits.”
