TNT is building a 6,350 sqm international depot at Eindhoven in The Netherlands to replace as existing facility which is now too small.
Completion of the new depot is expected in June 2015. It will have sorting and loading equipment, and 99 loading docks for vans and trucks. It will enhance TNT’s capability to handle increased volumes of parcels and freight across north-western Europe, with direct deliveries to customers and daily road line-hauls to Northampton Liege, Arnhem, Paris and Zurich. The new depot will particularly serve customers in the healthcare and high-tech industries.
It has also started air services to Hanover in Germany with five weekly flights connecting Hanover to the main international air hub in Liege (Belgium), Hanover to Billund (Denmark) and Oslo (Norway) to Hanover.
