Thierry Lepercq, managing director of Renault Trucks UK will be stepping down with effect from 14th July 2006. After a 16 year career in the company he has decided to set up his own business outside the Truck industry and will be returning to France.
Lepercq said “My decision to leave the company is entirely for personal and family reasons. The past two years has been a challenging but enjoyable experience for me and I firmly believe that Renault Trucks is on the verge of successful growth now that our full range renewal has been completed.”
Laurent Farman, who is currently in charge of the Romanian market, is expected to take over. Farman said “I am very much looking forward to coming to the UK and working in the second largest truck market in Europe.
“I believe our new product range will give us an opportunity to grow and I look forward to working with the UK team and the network to drive the business forward. But above all it is the customers we must satisfy and I look forward to meeting as many of them as possible.”
