Famous Pacific Shipping has extended its network coverage in Central Europe, with the appointment of a new general agent for Austria, the Czech Republic and Hungary.
Austromar Spol is headquartered in Vienna, will coordinate Famous Pacific Shipping’s activities in Prague and Budapest, and in these growing markets.
Alvin Tan, chairman of the FPS group’s executive committee, said: “The Czech Republic and Hungary are now among the most stable and prosperous of the post-Communist states. Economic growth in all three countries has been stimulated by each country’s recent accession to EU membership, with export and import levels increasing significantly.”
