Allison’s new 3000 series automatic gearbox is now available as a factory fit option for both the Volvo FE and FL ranges.
The new transmission is designed for efficient operation in urban environments and to provide drivers with improved control and manoeuvrability in busy streets.
Ricardo Sardelli, Allison area manager for the UK and Ireland, said the distribution sector is only now realising the benefits of installing fully automatic transmissions. He said: “We are delighted to be selected as the automatic gearbox option for the Volvo FE and FL range.”
