Broughton Controls, a security and site entrance control specialist, has developed a high security vehicle entrance control for busy industrial and logistics sites.
Broughton says that the new system provides enhanced security and reduces the need for manned gates. Vehicle access is controlled by high security barriers fitted with anti-pedestrian skirts above and below the barrier arm. These heavy duty units provide access via a series of controlled lanes.
Long range vehicle tagging identification permits rapid entry with a log of all movements for the client’s own vehicles, whilst video intercom is used to provide image capture and verbal instruction of third party visiting drivers.
