The Haulage Exchange has reached 1,000 live loads a month posted onto the web site. The exchange was launched six months ago building on the success of the Courier Exchange site.
It has also just reached is 200th subscriber: Armstrong Distribution Services of Amesbury. Paul Armstrong said: “We have been very impressed with the quality and quantity of loads listed on the site.”
Managing Director Lyall Cresswell said the exchange had three differentiators: it was a fully managed service; quality was maintained with a strict subscriber accreditation procedure; and exchange remained neutral and was not involved in the deal. It works on the basis of a monthly fee rather than a charge per transaction.
