Crate rental company PHS Teacrate is to produce its new IT2 flat screen computer crate in the UK rather than outsource the work to a manufacturer in China.
Teacrate already has its tooling operation in China and was tempted to move its manufacturing out there. Sales manager Nick Burke said: “We need a reliable supply chain so that we can respond to our customers’ orders quickly and handle seasonal fluctuations in the removals business.”
