Hermes Parcelnet has agreed a five-year lease on a 16,122 sq ft distribution unit at Riverside Business Park in Bristol, its second delivery hub in a year.
Hermes will operate a last mile delivery operation from the property, servicing the central Bristol area following unprecedented growth.
In October Hermes Parcelnet took occupation of a 6,100 sq ft unit at Canmoor’s Pucklechurch Industrial Estate in Bristol on a five-year lease with the intention of serving the east Bristol and south Gloucestershire areas.
Henry de Teissier, associate in the JLL Bristol office said: “This letting demonstrates the continuing demand for last mile logistics & courier services. Hermes required a unit in close proximity to arterial roads but also the extensive residential areas of east Bristol. Pucklechurch Industrial Estate provides exactly that, with easy access to the Avon Ring Road and surrounding areas.’’
