William Stobart and David Irlam are stepping down from the Stobart Group board. The group said this would to allow them to focus full time their experience and leadership on the core transport and logistics divisions.
They will remain directors of the key operating subsidiaries, with William Stobart as chief operating officer and David Irlam with responsibility for business development.
Two non-executive directors, Nick Watts and Daniel Dayan, are also stepping down.
Group chairman Rodney Baker-Bates, said: “The highly competitive and fast moving logistics market demands experience and authority close to the key operating decisions. These changes will reinforce our ability to deliver outstanding service at competitive cost to our customers. I would also like to thank both Nick and Daniel for their commitment, guidance and considerable contribution to the Board.”
