Linde is launching a new 10 to 18 tonne diesel engine counterbalance truck series to service applications at the heavier end of the forklift truck market including construction sites, ports and rail, and heavy industries such as steel, aluminium, construction and aggregates.
The new H100-H180 series is built at Linde’s plat at Merthyr Tydfil in South Wales. The series consists of ten models with load centres of 600 or 1200mm designed to suit a wide range of heavy industrial applications from container and break bulk handling to transport of steel girders across construction sites and moving automotive parts around a production site.
A side tilting cab is designed for fast access to the engine and hydrostatic drive system for servicing. More frequently used service components such as engine oil, fuel and air filters, washer fluid container, batteries, fuses and CANbus plugs are accessible via a centralised service bay to help reduce operating costs and maximise driver up-time.
Colin Flint, head of marketing at Linde’s heavy truck division, said: “This latest heavy truck series underlines our commitment to continued investment in new product development to deliver value and increased efficiency for our customers.”
