The new Hyster electric trucks feature ACX technology to provide performance flexibility to match different needs and in terms of durability, ease of maintenance and long service intervals, contributing to lower life-time costs. The 1.6- to 3.2-tonne models, with three or four wheels herald the arrival of AC technology on Hyster lift trucks.

The ACX suffix indicates the move to AC technology whilst the X stands for the extra value that these trucks can now provide.

The development also completes the launch of the latest additions to Hyster’s range of technologically advanced, high performance electric trucks: the J1.60-2.00XMT ACX three wheel and the E2.00-3.20XM ACX & E1.50-2.00XMS ACX four wheel series. This latest development is designed to match customer needs more closely and offer a high standard specification, a range of performance options and 1,000 hour service intervals on most major components.

The new series include Hyster’s latest ergonomic advances designed to increase operator comfort and control. The three-wheel models also feature a unique e-hydraulic armrest with mini-levers to give precise handling and an automatic park brake. Operators can choose from a range of performance modes to match their truck’s performance to the application or to their preferred driving style; all accessible at the touch of a button via the dash display.

The operating compartment comes with standard multi-adjustment, full suspension or semi-suspension seat, five-position tilt steering column and contoured, driver side hydraulic levers with Demand Sense steering and the optional Monotrol pedal for advanced manoeuvrability.

The AC ‘extended shift life option’, available on all Hyster ACX electrics, gives users a head start by providing the longest possible battery autonomy were an uninterrupted shift operation is critical.
