WMS specialist ATMS has supplied lggesund Paperboard with a radio data terminal (RDT) system and wireless infrastructure to enable real-time tracking and recording of stock movements, from production through to despatch via its third-party distributors. The new hardware interfaces directly with Iggesund’s existing business software system. Iggesund produces packing board for the food packaging, graphics and tobacco industries. Iggesund neeed to increase storage and loading efficiency by switching to more advanced equipment which has the potential to offer more functions such as automatic bin spotting and despatching of oddment stock.
