Nissan Motor Manufacturing has selected NYK Logistics for central European collections.
The central European business involves collections from suppliers in Austria, Benelux, Germany, Italy and Switzerland and builds on the existing Eastern European and UK operations provided by NYK.
NYK uses its cross-dock facilities in the Czech Republic, Germany and Italy to forward components west to Nissan’s assembly facilities in Barcelona and Sunderland.
NYK now supports the manufacture of Nissan’s complete range of European-made vehicles, its spare parts operations in the Netherlands, and its export parts business to Japan.
