WL Duffield, which makes animal feeds, has appointed Norbert Dentressangle Transport Services to distribute palletised products.
Dentressangle makes daily collections of palletised products from Duffields’ mill in Saxlingham and a storage depot in Bury St Edmunds before consolidating loads at its nearby site in Ipswich. Next day deliveries are made to customer locations including game, dairy, poultry, pig and stud farms via its shared-user network.
Duffields distribution manager David Selfe said: “We have appointed Norbert Dentressangle to handle additional palletised product deliveries to run alongside our own operation to expand our nationwide distribution to customers. The company has an established and cost-effective pallet network, as well as the expertise to help us manage our projected growth.”
Duffields also owns Pen Mill Feeds in Yeovil and through the Norbert Dentressangle transport network supplies feeds across the South and South West regions.
