A new transport strategy degree course is targeting improved integration of freight and passenger transport modes.
City University London is offering the masters course in transport strategy and systems from September 2011.
The degree will address a range of emerging themes including: the need for previously siloed freight and passenger transport modes to be better integrated with each other and wider urban infrastructure; the growth of smart and low carbon technologies and how these can be put to best use in transport domains; and the development and implementation of energy and emissions policies.
