DHL Global Forwarding has expanded the range of air freight containers it can offer customers after signing a deal with CSafe, LLC, the heat-and-cool container provider.
“We are the first European-based freight forwarder to sign this type of leasing agreement with CSafe thus expanding our services for Life Sciences customers and leveraging our leadership role in the market,” said Laura Ackermann, global head life sciences operations, air freight at DHL Global Forwarding.
. During flight the temperature of CSafe’s heat-and-cool container is maintained within the range +4°C to +25°C by means of rechargeable batteries – whether ambient temperatures are normal or extreme, i.e. ranging from -30°C to +49°C.
