Plans for a 1.8 million sq ft distribution park in Ashford Kent are set to be submitted shortly – and speculation is rife that internet shopping giant Amazon is likely to be taking up residence.
Real estate investor AXA Real Estate Investment Management and DMI Properties had submitted plans for an alternative to Junction 10A on the M20 motorway, in November 2012 which would open up a 118 acre site for development that would accommodate 1.8 million sq ft of employment space.
Neither the developers or Amazon was able to comment.
