The market value of logistics robots is set to hit $22.4 billion by the end of 2021, according to new research by Research and Markets.
The research, from “Warehousing and Logistics Robots: Global Marker Analysis and Forecasts”, also found that worldwide sales of warehousing and logistics robots hit $1.9 billion in 2016.
And market intelligence company Tractica forecasts worldwide warehousing and logistics robot unit shipments are to rise from 40,000 in 2016, to 620,000 annual units by 2021.
