XPO Logistics has launched voice tracking for last mile shipments. The company has integrated Google Home and Amazon Echo capabilities with its last mile network.
Consumers will be able to use smart speakers to connect with Google Assistant and Amazon’s Alexa from the point of sale through to fulfilment and home delivery.
“Today’s consumers expect access to, and control over, their personal experience within the supply chain,” said Troy Cooper, chief operating officer of XPO Logistics. “We’re adding simple yet powerful tools that use connectivity to strengthen these relationships.”
