A planning application for a 1.8 million sq ft logistics and industrial scheme at Haydock Point, St. Helens, has been submitted by Peel Investments.

If approved, the site will be developed by Peel Logistics Property and is expected to create around 2,500 jobs. The new development would represent a £141 million investment.
The proposed site adjoins Junction 23 or the M6.
A decision is expected to take place by July 2017.
