The European Supply Chain Excellence Awards 2006 are now open for entries. Companies wishing to find out how they compare with Europe’s leading players in supply chain management should log on to to the awards web site and complete the newly streamlined questionnaire.
This year, the 10th year of the awards, our sister magazine Logistics Europe is partnering with leading consultancy PRTM.
Entrants will now not only get a free feedback report on how they compare with each other, but how they compare with leading companies around the world.
All shortlisted companies will be visited by an adjudicator who will spend several hours assessing the shortlisted candidate’s supply chain practices.
Also new in 2006 will be the addition of three new award categories – Project Management, Environmental Improvement and Individual Contribution. These will be in addition to the six industry sector awards and four business process awards listed opposite. Of course, there will also be the highly coveted award for the overall winner, which was won last year by Rexam Beverage Can Europe
