Fraikin has won a five year contract hire agreement with Latium Logistics. The deal involves supplying eight 6×2 rigids, six of them with drawbar trailers. The contract will cover each of the vehicles for road fund licensing and 24-hour breakdown support and tyres. The vehicles have high curtainside bodies, providing a total height of 14ft 6in, to maximise carrying capacity.
Harry McClurg, managing director of Latium, said: “The delivery of these new vehicles sees us move from a time consuming and costly demount system to simplified fixed bodywork, with the new fleet replacing a number of five year old vehicles previously supplied by Fraikin.”
The fleet is liveried with sister companies, Kestrel Building Products and Spectus Window Systems.
