Kimberly-Clark and Kellogg’s have seen cuts of seven per cent in their transport costs from a collaboration project run through TDG.

More than 53 million journey miles have been removed from UK roads since IGD’s Efficient Consumer Response (ECR UK) initiative on the Sustainable Distribution project started last year, smashing the 48 million mile target.

TDG has created a carbon ratings scheme to evaluate the environmental performance of different parts of its business, allowing the company to make internal comparisons and measure its overall progress.
