Shop Direct Group has extended its contract with Norbert Dentressangle for a further ten years for warehousing its “two-man” products.

Under the terms of the contract, Norbert is responsible for the receipt, quality inspection, put-away, pick, despatch and returns of products requiring two man delivery, primarily furniture and white goods, with all home deliveries being carried out by Yodel.
The furniture operation is based at Norbert Dentressangle’s warehouse in Wrexham, North Wales and the white goods operation at a second site at Hooton, near Liverpool.
Norbert employs more than 200 people across the two, business units. It uses 900,000 sq ft of warehousing space and handles around three million items each year on the contract
Shop Direct has annual turnover of around £1.7 billion, and includes brands such as Littlewoods, Very, Isme, Kays and Woolworths.co.uk.
