Kalmar Industries has established its own subsidiary company in Durban, South Africa, for the sale and servicing of straddle carriers and RTG cranes.
Edwin Briggeman has been appointed head of the new company and is in charge of overseeing the deliveries of the straddle carriers ordered by South African Port Operations (SAPO). Located in the new Durban office, he will also be responsible for the start-up of the new company South Africa (Pty) and the further development of customer relations with SAPO
