Andrew Austin has been appointed vice president of European operations at Schneider Logistics. He will be based at Venlo in The Netherlands. Austin will be responsible for all operations and customer account management activities in Europe.
Peter Eglinton has joined Christian Salvesen as the group development director. Previously he worked for DHL, where he spent 17 years in a variety of roles.
Charles Craft has been appointed operations director for Octavian’s new Hoddesdon service centre. He will be responsible for enhancing customer services. Maurice Birkett has been appointed senior network development manager at Pall-Ex.
James Wells has joined TwoWay Vanguard as export director based at the company’s Manchester office. Sid Corfield has retired from Link51 at the age of 86.
Ken Bell has become health and safety manager at Palletline. He was most recently health and safety co-ordinator at Goodyear Tyres in Birmingham.
Edward Roberto is to become chief operating officer of mobile asset management specialist TrenStar. He was previously chief executive of Newmerix.
