11 new straddle carriers for Forth Ports

Forth Ports is investing in 11 new Kalmar straddle carriers – six have already been delivered to the London Container Terminal at Tilbury, and five will be delivered to Grangemouth early next year.

Canada’s Public Sector Pension Investment Board is to buy out its fellow shareholder in Forth Ports Ltd, Arcus European Infrastructure Fund. After completion of the deal it plans to partner with other long term investors in the business.

Port of Rosyth to transform into agri-hub

Agricultural specialist Cefetra has signed a long-term contract with Forth Ports to use the Port of Rosyth, which will entail the port being developed to provide Cefetra with a purpose-built facility for handling an extensive range of agricultural products.
