Abercrombie & Fitch and Bleckmann, a global logistics provider for fashion and lifestyle brands, are planning to open a new distribution centre in Columbus, Ohio.
The facility, slated to open in summer 2026, is intended to boost A&F’s North‑American fulfilment capacity, shorten delivery times and support the retailer’s long‑term growth strategy.
Larry Grischow, executive vice president of supply chain and procurement at A&F, said the new site will support customers by “improving efficiency, reducing delivery times and expanding capacity”.
Bleckmann CEO Kurt Pierloot echoed the sentiment, adding that the new distribution centre will provide a “future‑proof logistics solution” tailored to A&F’s needs.
The Columbus hub will be covered under a comprehensive service level agreement, with Bleckmann providing supply chain and logistics services, including automation, integrated IT infrastructure and customised carrier labelling.
Bleckmann has a long-standing partnership with A&F.
Bleckmann’s chief operating officer Quentin Godfirnon said the company will work closely with A&F to ensure precision and quality throughout systems integration and go‑live milestones.
Abercrombie & Fitch, which owns the Hollister brand, reported record net sales of US$1.2bn (£894m), up 7% year-on-year, in the second quarter of the 2025 fiscal year, ending 2 August. America sales were up 8% and APAC sales up 12% compared with 2024.
The company also increased its full-year net sales outlook, assuming a US$90m tariff expense (equivalent to around 17% of projected net sales).
The new distribution facility in Ohio will further strengthen A&F’s network and support its continued growth across North America.
